My plan was to take them out for dinner and then go to the library. I didn't know this until I had kids but it's a great place for them. It has a great kids area and they like it too because there's different toys and books from what they're use to. That WAS my plan. Unfortunately when you have two toddlers things don't always go as planned. I knew it was going to be an interesting night when I arrive at daycare and Campbell was out like a light. Drooling and everything. That was at 5:15 pm mind you. So I let him sleep and got Porter from his room. Came back and he was still sleeping. So I had to wake him up. Anyone who has kids knows you're NEVER to wake a sleeping baby. He was a mess (that's putting it lightly).
I got both kids in the car and drove to Punch Pizza. Who doesn't love pizza? Well Campbell cried the entire drive and not just whimpering. Full on blood curdling, hysterical crying. I thought he was sitting on something or had a dirty diaper that was hurting. I really had no idea. Porter even tried singing to him to calm him down (bless his heart) and that didn't work. We finally get to the pizza place and I get him out of the car and he's still crying. Nothing in his seat, no dirty diaper. By this time I've already decided the library is out. He literally cried until the pizza came. Yes folks I was that woman! The mom with the crying, uncontrollable baby in a restaurant. Yeah for me! Regardless to say I think he was hungry and still pissed that I woke him. If I got near him or his pizza he would flip his lid. Even Porter was scared of him.
The look on Porter's face is priceless. Campbell wanted Porter's pizza and nothing was going to stop him. He just let him have it.
